DREAM HOME #33 Lottery Rules
As defined by the laws of the Municipality, Province, and Government of Canada.
Eligibility
Must be 18 years of age or older to purchase a ticket.
Prizes are not transferable and must be accepted as awarded.
Members of the Board of Directors, Finance Committee and paid staff of the Boys & Girls Clubs Big Brothers Big Sisters of Edmonton & Area Society and their spouses, along with the staff of Stride Management, are not permitted to purchase or accept Dream Home Lottery Tickets on the agency's Dream Home Lottery. (Please note that the rules expressed here have been filed with Alberta Lottery & Gaming Commission and override rules published or displayed elsewhere.)
If the winner has not been located within 365 days of the draw, after publicly advertising this fact, the Society will write to the AGLC requesting permission to allocate said prizes for use by Boys & Girls Clubs Big Brothers Big Sisters of Edmonton & Area Society.
Credit card vouchers made payable to the organization are acceptable. Non-certified cheques will be accepted. Ticket stub(s) will not be included in any draw until the funds are in the Agency's Dream Home Lottery #33 Raffle Bank Account.
Each ticket is eligible for all prizes except where they may be late for the Early Bird or Loyalty Draws.
The draw will be conducted in the following manner: Draw will be open to the public, and two members of the executive of Boys & Girls Clubs Big Brothers Big Sisters of Edmonton & Area Society will be present to witness. The draw will be taped, and tickets drawn from a transparent draw barrel. Tickets will be drawn manually by an individual who does not have a ticket in the draw, in a random manner. Only the person making the draw will put their arm into the draw barrel, and will have no clothing on their arm, below their elbow. The winning ticket(s) will be displayed to the witnesses for inspection immediately after they are drawn from the barrel.
Grand Prize is a fully furnished house valued at $1,400,000 including lot, home furnishings, landscaping and GST. No cash in lieu prize will be awarded. Possession of the home is 30 days after the winner is notified.
The Loyalty Draw (1X $50,000) will be held at 2:00pm on Friday January 18, 2013 on site at the Dream Home (120 Balmoral Cove, Sherwood Park, AB T8B 0A2). Only tickets purchased prior to 11pm on Friday, January 4th, 2013 will be eligible for this draw.
The Early Bird #1 Draw 1 prize of $33,000 will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, March 4, 2013 on site at the Dream Home (120 Balmoral Cove, Sherwood Park, AB T8B 0A2). Only tickets purchased prior to 11pm on Friday, February 15, 2013 will be eligible for this draw.
The Early Bird #2 Draw 1 prize of $33,000 will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, April 1, 2013 on site at the Dream Home (120 Balmoral Cove, Sherwood Park, AB T8B 0A2¬). Only tickets purchased prior to 11pm on Friday, March 15, 2013 will be eligible for this draw.
The Early Bird #3 Draw 1 prize of $33,000 will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, April 29, 2013 on site at the Dream Home (120 Balmoral Cove, Sherwood Park, AB T8B 0A2¬). Only tickets purchased prior to 11pm on Monday, April 15, 2013 will be eligible for this draw.
The Final Grand Prize House Draw ($1,400,000.00 including lot, home, furnishings, landscaping and GST) will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, May 17, 2013 on site at the Dream Home (120 Balmoral Cove, Sherwood Park, AB T8B 0A2). Only tickets purchased prior to 11pm Wednesday, May 1, 2013 will be eligible for this draw. If all tickets are sold prior to Monday, April 15th, 2013, the draw will be held Monday, April 29, 2013, with the approval of Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission.
All of the above mentioned draws are open to any member of the general public. Order of the draws will be as follows; the first draw will be for the Loyalty prize (one draw of $50,000 cash), next will be the Early Bird #1 prize, one draw of $33,000 cash, next will be the Early Bird #2 prize, one draw of $33,000 cash, next will be the Early Bird #3 prize, one draw of $33,000 cash and the final draw for the Grand Prize Dream Home Package ($1,400,000.00 including lot, home, furnishings, landscaping and GST)..
Refunds will be available to ticket purchasers, however if any purchased ticket has been entered for any draw, no refund will be issued. Allow 3-4 weeks for arrival of official ticket(s).
Tickets for the Dream Home Lottery will be sold in Alberta only.
Total tickets available are 13,000 tickets @ $25; 11,000 sets @ 4 for $60; 12,500sets @ 10 for $100 and 7,350 sets at 30/$200 for a total of 402,500 tickets.
Tickets may be purchased by cheque, money order, Visa, MasterCard, Debit and cash. The Lottery Committee's liability is limited to the purchase price of the ticket.
Only upon demonstrating extraordinary circumstances to Alberta Gaming & Liquor Commission will the Licensee make a request for draw extension.

In the event a winning ticket stub has more than one name on it, the licensed charity shall award the prize to the first name of all individuals identified on the ticket. Boys & Girls Clubs Big Brothers Big Sisters and the AGLC are not responsible for any disputes which may arise between the different individuals whose names appear on the ticket stub. Boys & Girls Clubs Big Brothers Big Sisters will not add the name of a person under 18 years of age on a ticket.
All tickets will be controlled by the licensee and are only available by mail, phone, internet and in person at Boys & Girls Clubs Big Brothers Big Sisters of Edmonton & Area offices (10135 89 Street, 9425 109A Avenue, Edmonton) and the Dream Home (120 Balmoral Cove, Sherwood Park). Ticket request forms will be collected weekly, with tickets processed and mailed by the Lottery Tickets Sales Centre at Stride Management Corp. Ticket request forms must be received at the Lottery Ticket Sales Centre to be valid.
Total retail value of all prizes is: $1,549,000.00 including GST.

Draw
The Grand Prize Draw ($200,000 guaranteed minimum cash prize or 50% of total sales up to $1,000,000.00, maximum cash prize of $500,000) will be held at 12:30pm on Friday, May 17, 2013 on site at the Dream Home #33 location (120 Balmoral Cove, Sherwood Park, AB T8B 0A2). Only tickets purchased prior to 11pm Wednesday, May 1, 2013 will be eligible for this draw. If all tickets are sold prior to Monday, April 15, 2013, the draw will be held Monday, April 29, 2013, with the approval of Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission.

Grand Prize is a minimum of 20% to a maximum of 50% of sales up to $1,000,000.00 ($200,000 to $500,000.00).
Total tickets available are 10,000 tickets @ $5; 14,000 sets @ 10 for $25; 12,000 sets @ 30 for $50 for a total of 510,000 tickets.

The names, cities and winning ticket numbers of Win 50 Prize winner will be published in the Edmonton Journal with all winners posted on the Boys & Girls Clubs Big Brothers Big Sisters of Edmonton & Area Lottery website: www.bigbrothershomelottery.org.
