The Big Brothers Big Sisters Cause

Proceeds from Big Brothers Big Sisters 30th Dream Home Lottery support mentoring programs provided through Big Brothers Big Sisters of Edmonton and Area.  Kids need positive role models.  It’s just that simple.  Kids with mentors do better in school, are less likely to succumb to negative peer pressure, are more likely to attend post secondary education and develop stronger peer and authority relationships.  Nearly 3,000 children and youth in Edmonton and area are currently benefiting from a direct Big Brothers Big Sisters mentoring match.  Countless more are benefiting indirectly.  But we have roughly 800 kids still waiting to be matched.  Your support through fundraising efforts like the Dream Home Lottery will allow Big Brothers Big Sisters to continue serving children in our community and working toward bright futures for kids.
